Overcompensating For Their Shortcomings

These insane guys went shark hunting in their kayaks in 2007. According to this article, these four soon-to-be Darwin Award winners purposely paddled into shark-infested waters in Alaska where they were surrounded by 200-300 salmon sharks, some of which they estimated to weigh in at over 1,000 pounds. Using ordinary rods and sit-on-top kayaks, they caught four of them at an average length of 7 feet 10 inches, and a weight of about 375 pounds each.
I guess no one told these bozos that salmon sharks are an endangered species.
